Dominique Daye Hunter (she/her) is an Afro-Indigenous (Black, YesΓ‘h/Saponi, Irish and Polish American) storyteller. A poet, author, clothing designer, advocate, and consultant, she is a self-taught artist born and raised in the New York tri-state area.
The CEO of D. Daye Hunter Designs, LLC, Dominique's work explores the complex connections between history, trauma, and healing in Black and Indigenous communities. She uses storytelling to curate transformative spacesβboth virtual and physicalβthat amplify BIPOC voices and drive impactful social and environmental change.
Dominique is the author of Seeds: Stories of Afro-Indigenous Resilience. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nonprofit Leadership Management with an emphasis on American Indian Studies and is a certified DEIB/A trainer.
Dominique lives in North Carolina and works everywhere.
